These are 20 wordpress I’ve used. It’s very important for every blogger to improve their own blog. Backup database before trying and remember don’t use any plugin if you don’t need it. Less plugins, fast blog speed!

1. Akismet:

Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not.

3. Google XML Sitemaps:

This plugin will generate a sitemaps.org compatible sitemap of your WordPress blog which is supported by Ask.com, Google, MSN Search and Yahoo.

4. WP-PageNavi:

Adds a more advanced paging navigation to your WordPress blog.

5. Zap_NewWindow:

External links in posts (links that refer to other domains) will be automatically opened in a new browser window. No target=”_blank” needed. The code is valide to XHTML Strict.

6. FD FeedBurner Plugin:

Redirects the main feed and optionally the comments feed to Feedburner.com. It does this seamlessly without the need to modify templates, setup new hidden feeds, modify .htaccess files, or asking users to migrate to a new feed. 8. WP Super Cache:

This plugin generates static html files from your dynamic WordPress blog. After a html file is generated your webserver will serve that file instead of processing the comparatively heavier and more expensive WordPress PHP scripts.

The static html files will be served to the vast majority of your users, but because a user’s details are displayed in the comment form after they leave a comment those requests are handled by PHP. Static files are served to:

1. Users who are not logged in.
2. Users who have not left a comment on your blog.
3. Or users who have not viewed a password protected post.
